I posted a guide to the first quarter earnings season yesterday and I specifically mentioned financial firms, as well as the lack of <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">pre<\/span>-announcements. Enter:Wells Fargo. They have <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_1\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">pre<\/span>-announced this morning that they had a record first quarter in terms of profits. Said with modesty: &#8220;You don&#8217;t have to clap.&#8221; <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Heh<\/span>, <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">heh<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Not surprisingly S&amp;P 500 futures are suggesting that the stock markets will open much higher today.
